CGIA Institute introduces Computer Based Exam

CGIA Institute, the global body of Finance & Investment Professionals providing the Chartered Global Investments Analyst qualification has announced that its’ candidates can now sit for the Institute’s exams online.

Candidates are required to complete fourteen (14) papers structured in three levels before been awarded the CGIA Charter designation.

In an effort to make the examination accessible to all candidates, the Institute has officially launched it’s Computer Based Exam in addition to the existing paper based format.

 “The future is finally here. We are excited to begin 2020 with our own developed Computer Based Exam system to cover the first two levels which together makes up 10 papers out of the 14.” According to a news report from the institute.

“It’s our hope that with the introduction of the CCBE, candidates will have more options to take their exam irrespective of their location. Eventually, all the Level I and Level II papers will only be offered via the CCBE”, the report continued.

‘Also, the CCBE will allow us to open up more exam sessions and offer our exams multiple times within each year”.

The CCBE will be opened for use for the Institute’s upcoming exams session, which is the January 2020 Exams Season. Candidates who have registered to write their exams in the January 2020 Exams season can now opt to take the exam via the CCBE.
